CONNELLSVILLE, PA (June 14, 2021) — On May 14, 2021, Ford Office Technologies, western Pennsylvania’s largest independent provider of office technology, acquired the managed IT division of Maher Duessel, a specialized CPA firm serving the State of Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
Due to some recent regulatory changes, the partners of Maher Duessel made the decision to focus on the core of their business, specifically, government and non-profit audit, accounting, and tax services. Elizabeth Krisher, President of Maher Duessel stated, “Providing exceptional client service with highly qualified and seasoned audit and tax professionals is one of our core values and the primary reason that we have decided that this is where we should focus our efforts. We feel confident that we are leaving our managed IT clients in skilled and capable hands, or we would not have made the move.”
Ford Office Technologies has made initial contact with each client individually to provide a one-on-one personalized transition. The transfer of service for all clients is expected to be complete before the end of June.
