IT Technician I – Onsite at Client Location

Join the area’s largest independent full-line authorized provider of the industry’s top three manufacturers for copier, printer, and multi-function product (MFP) technology as an IT Technician I, located onsite at Client location in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Proficient in setup, configuration and Operations/Maintenance of Server Hardware/OS.
• Proficient in setup, configuration and Operations/Maintenance of Backup Hardware/software.
• Ability to install EDR and Remote Management tools.
• Maintains timely and complete documentation of all daily and project work.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies and maintain selected technical certifications.
• Remote and on-site troubleshooting and support of UPS, Server hardware and software.
• Monitors alerts for alarms via documented procedure and escalate to senior team members as needed.
• Receive, process, and inventory client equipment shipped to Ascent Data.
• Setup,and configure new computer equipment per client specifications.
• Communicate with Clients directly to schedule on-site visits as needed.
• Prioritizing issues.
• Performance of outstanding customer service.
• Strong experience with Windows 10 Desktop Support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server Systems Administration to include Active Directory Users and Computers, SMB Network Share Permissions, and Print Server Management.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Resolve issues that arise.
• Ability to work and set goals with little supervision.
• Exhibits strong work ethic.
• Desire to achieve success through hard work and commitment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability.

Requirements
• Possess a bachelor or associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Proven software and network troubleshooting skills.
• Print-Audit and papercut knowledge or willing to learn.
• Superior phone presence.
• Strong written skills.
• A desire to excel as a technologist in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess experience with all Microsoft Office applications.
• 1 to 3 years in a technical support role.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm into a team environment with the ability to work collaboratively.
